I purchased this gi for my boyfriends Ryu costume. On the site size chart it says size 5 is for someone 5’11″ – 6’2″, 170 – 200 lbs. My boyfriend is 5’11″ and 175-180 lbs. When the gi arrived it looked and felt very nice but it runs VERY large! On the actual package that it arrived in it said size 5 is for 6′ 200 lbs and the size 4 is actually what I should of bought. Thankfully I’m cutting the arms and bottom of the pants off or else I would have had to return it. For the price it is an excellent quality.

The material is thick for the price! But one drawback is that the elastic is too tight for me. I am 5’3″ and 118 pounds so I am not overweight. It is still a bit too tight a slightly uncomfortable. I dont really notice it though as I am focused on practicing. But when I first put it on it is uncomfortable.

Uniform came promptly. I was very pleased with the quality, service, and price. I bought it simply for a Halloween costume, but this uniform will last for a long time!
