Yet through meditations benifets, buddhist monks invented martial arts as a way of protecting themselves.
As far as finding the truth though. God is needed, and that is prayer to God. Buddhists are septiable to misconceptions.
to me, meditation is the deepest thinking you can have. You think about things so hard but yet so gently that you can have discovered the meaning of life during your meditation yet not realize it.
