what price range do you consider reasonable? everything is expensive in Orange County nowadays.

This is what I did. I don’t live in OC. But back in ’99 when I first heard about pilates I went to the closest place that has the equipment (33 miles from my home). Took them up on their free introduction. Got a little insight on what it was about. Took a dozen or so “mat exercise” classes in town (33 miles away). And practiced a little on my own at home. Now, there’s dozens of video tapes and dvds that feature all kinds of pilates workouts. I own a couple. But mostly borrow them from the library (that’s where I work). Lucky you, you live in the big city. Lots (maybe too many choices). Anyhow that’s how I did it on the cheaps. btw, there’s even a couple places in my village that offer pilates mat classes, now.
