Although this book is written for the health professional, it is a fantastic resource for the Pilates beginner as well. The text is well organized, thorough, clear and easy to understand. The illustrations of how to do the individual exercises are some of the most helpful I have seen in an exercise book.

Love this book! Excellent resource guide for new and experienced Pilates teachers. The chapter (2) on Posture and Movement assessment is worth the price of the book alone. I have purchased more expensive Pilates books that were not nearly as valuable to me. Highly recommend!!

This is a fabulous book! If you ever wanted to know which exercises target specific muscles, this would be the book to get. I found the section on posture and movement assessment to be very beneficial, because it pinpoints which classical pilates exercises I can use to achieve the look I want. The checkpoints within each exercise help me to remember to do the movement correctly. Highly recommended!

This is a must for any Pilates’ instructors. Easy to read and very important to understand the anatomy of the body. I find it very helpful in sharpening my instructor tools.
