What are some good ways to lose weight while breastfeeding?

Like the question states I am breastfeeding so no crazy stuff like taking pills or cutting out foods. I have been walking and trying to eat sensibly but I seem to be stuck at my weight. I have been thinking of buying the Carmen Electra striptease workout videos or doing pilates. Any suggestions and keep them nice thanks.

    For me I used tae-bo, core secrets,and a few others.

  2. with my 1st kid i did 4mils of running and pilates and thing like that i didn’t eat to much fat foods. I was a 160lbs and now 130lbs. Hope that will help.

    Also try weight training! If I had only one thing to rely on for weight loss this would be it.

  4. Congrats on your baby ! I walked every morning starting when my son was 1 week old and I felt better, I walked every where as long as it was not too hot out to bring my son. Of course breastfeeding is also helpful with losing weight.

    If your breat feeding , you will notice some weight to come off by itself, but it does take a bit of time….Also try walking, the baby and yourself can go for a nice walk and bond! Also try eating alot of fruits and veggies. This is also healthy for your baby. Stay away from high sugar foods, and greasy foods. After my kids were born i did alot of walking, and went on a negative food diet. This is mainly “fruits and veggies” but don’t forget to throw in some meats n potatoes, etc also! In your search engine type negative food diets…..it will then give you a list of foods with the amount of calories in them per serving…. In order to lose weight you must burn off more calories than you are taking in…..So if you have a meal that consists of 400 calories, to lose weight ( or start) you must burn off at least 500 calories. You have to give your metabolism a boost so it will help you burn the fat. You can also type in burning calories into your search engine and it will give you a list of activities you can do and how many calories it will burn off in certain amounts of time, etc…..GOOD LUCK!

  6. You really shouldn’t be trying to lose weight while breastfeeding, in fact you need more calories than usual. Of course, you need exercise, too, to keep yourself healthy. Maybe you need to see a nutritionist…
