		<description>Pilates centres around the core. If you think of a tree the trunk is the core and the roots the legs and branches the arms. It is a great form of exercise that you lengthens and leans out muscles greater than any other type of exercise. 

It is a great way to get fit and you can use the same disciplines in every exercise you do. I use it for boxing, running and spin. Aqua aerobics is pilates in the water so once you understand the methodology you get double the workout using any other exercises as you really learn to turn on your core.
