I’m about to start training. I have to choose between Tai chi and kick boxing. Which one do you believe would provide more action, better workout, and a better self-defense course? I’m overweight but I’m agile and good with my legs. I have never done any martial art before. Please be specific explaining your choice. Thanks.

I am 5’4″ and weigh about 115-119, depending on the time of day, the scale I’m using, etc. I’m not concerned about actually losing a specific amount of weight so much as slimming down my thighs and upper arms, and firming them up a little (without bulk). You ladies out there know how it is…there’s a little cottage-cheese action on my a$s and upper thighs, haha. Anyways, I want to know how I can stay motivated to get my body in the shape that would make me happy and healthier! What do you do to stay motivated??? I am limiting my carb intake, counting calories, and eating only healthy foods. Also, I am doing Pilates every day and drinking lots of green tea and water. Tell me what you think of my plan, if it will work, and some motivational tips! Thanks everyone!!

I was about 8 10 years old. I think it was a tv show from japan aired here in the states. IT was live action. The name “inspector man” keeps poping into my head but no search results come up.
This guy was a superhero. Had a brown suit. He had 3 eyes one being a crystal in the middle up on his forehead. He would battle these apes/monkeys who could turn into giants.
I know he could turn into a giant. He had this sig. move. He would swing his arms in a kung fu move and he would shoot these lasers from his hands.
Well if anyone can come up with this answer a many thanks in advance.
My son plays in a baseball association, and last night, he was playing 2nd base, and the runner basically karate-kicked him in the biceps with metal cleats. My son had to go to the ER and get 8 stitches. The head coach for our team wasn’t there, but the head assistant coach is requesting disiplinary action be made against the other player, who was ejected and automaticly suspended for one game. He is asking me what sort of action to request from league, but what sort of action would be appropriate? The player has been involved in many near-ejection situations before, 1 in the 1st inning, and i dont know if i should ask for disbarrment, a season suspension, or just in the next game we play against them, because the rest of the team was anxious for the player to come up to bat again so they could hit him but I don’t want anything to get out of hand here… The umpires agreed in their report that it was definately intentional and malicious… suggestions?
Btw, they’re 14 years old.
well, i figure that a long suspension will teach him a lesson too
It’s not under little league rules, it used to be, but it’s a separate organization now. Besides, Little League only extends to age 12.
