I’m new to meditation, I do it every-so-often but I’m only successful some of the time, as I have trouble concentrating. What’s some good advice for somebody like me who wants to get further into meditation? Thanks

hey, i have a problem….
im going to be 16 in a month and 5 days and i am going to HAVE to be able to drive places, my dad passed away on oct 2nd and he was a big part in my transportation. now my mom is all i have left and she wont let my drive when im 16 to the places that i think i should be able to go..
i want to be able to go to
1.school
2.taekwondo
3.friends in my town
4.food
ive begged her to let me drive, but its a no go.
she said that she will rethink her decision if i can proove to her that im a really really good driver by the time i get my licence, and even then its a slim chance…ideas please, anything! tips on how to convince, good driving habbits, anything please.
im already an good driver, i do the speed limit, im extremly watchful of my surroundings and other cars and that stuff.
if i cant convince her, i cant drive until im 17. which will suck.
fyi, i cannot get a job because im on social security and if i get a job, then the money i earn is taken away from ss
I’m trying to add some muscle mass to my 5’1, 97lb frame. I usually do high intensity strength training routines around 6 am and then take Ashtanga yoga at lunch. I usually do short cardio intervals (30min.) 3 times a week and take a spinning class (1 hr)once a week. I surf on the weekends. (2-3 times). Is this detrimental to weight gain? Is protein consumption more important than total caloric intake? I’m toned all over but I would like to gain more muscle tone in order to be stronger on the waves. Any advice?

I’m about 5’3″ and 105lbs. I know, I’m small. My question is, does anyone know of good exercises to help build up my legs (thighs/calves) and butt area? I don’t have access to weight machines nor do i want a gym membership. just something simple and effective i could do at home when I have time. I tried pilates, but it doesn’t do crap…
