Excluding the obviously Anime martial arts you find he often does which are impossible for humans there is an obvious Kung fu influence in his arts, while alot of his kicks we used to do in Tae kwon Do… so i was wondering if anyone know where that signature 1 hand infront of the body stance he uses came from.
It’s not druken fist though because he’s only supposed to use drunken fist in the series when hes drunk. he is seen making this motion when he’s sober

i saw the chinese dubbed version of the anime series and the lead is called “tai feng wang” or something like that. and he has a dog-like creature that can fly.
I think it’s based on a chinese legend. one of the characters there is called Nacha and he is said to be a legendary kung fu artist. The bad person is a woman witch who has many female attendants. Then another character that can control wind.
Pls tell me the name of this series if you know it!
this anime series is based on a Chinese Legend i think. And one of its characters is called Nacha (i think he was a legendary kung fu artist in China). The bad guy is actually a girl with long red hair and she has many attendants… and the lead of the anime has a cute dog-like animal that follows him around and calls him ‘master’.
I know it sounds quite confusing but i really want to know the name of this series!
i once watched this anime as a Chinese dubbed version. The lead’s name (in the chinese version) is sth like “Tai Feng Wang”.
I just watched Afro Samurai on Spike TV. I really liked tonight’s show. Now this is what anime should be like. I am tired of Pokemon and its countless imitators. I want to see good Kung fu action.
