No ankle movement and knee is o k, though weak.
Im wondering if I should get ankle weights tommorow but I’ve heard they mess up ur joints and ligaments. The reason why I wanna use them is to improve my kicking speed and strength for kung fu. Should I get these weights? Ive also heard of a body weight what should I do?

I take Taekwondo and long enough to know the limits of my body. The ankle weights are mainly going to be used for daily routine activites and some static slow exercises. Would this still have a negative effect on my ligaments and joints? If so are there any other suggestions on how to improve speed and vertical jump besides plyometrics?

I am striving to be as smooth and tight as I can. I am not afraid of hard work but don’t want to go to the gym. I have free weights and a work out bench. I already do tons of squats, wear ankle weights and stand in the doorway doing side leg lifts. I also take Karate. I am 110 and have 14% body fat I am over 35. I know there are fitness tapes out there but I want advice from all of you that have had experience yourselves and know what works. Any input is appreciated!
I sprained it yesterday at Taekwondo and it is swollen. I got x-rays and there is nothing broken. The doctor was awful and very vague. I just want to know about how long it will take to go back to Taekwondo.
I was supposed to test for my next belt tomorrow, but now I have to put it off =(
