What are they meditating on? What is the benefit of this? As a person who believes in God I can understand that meditation helps me to find my place in the universe and how God plays His part, amongst other things.

Are Malas just for Buddhists?
And Hindus, and related religions. Or can anyone use them, I heard them being referred to as purely meditation beads to cout one’s mantra whatever it is. So basically a mala is just a string of beads for anyone to use during meditation independent of religion right?

If Islam intends to convert everybody to their religion (by hook or by sword) should Buddhists be alarmed?
Should’nt Buddhist monks in their Shaolin temples and Buddhist-converts be honing their kung-fu for a showdown with Islamists? If Islam has the suicide bombers, Buddhism has kung-fu… i think that’s a good match-up, dont you agree?
