Why do people hate Taekwondo so much?

Why do people hate Taekwondo so much? I mean…it’s just like any other martial art. I take Taekwondo and nothing is wrong with that. What is the reason? I don’t understand that. Everyone thinks that Taekwondo is just a bunch of flashy kicks. Can you prove that? Have you ever seen Taekwondo, the original, (not just the olympic sport) in hand to hand combat? What’s your opinion about Taekwondo and why?
But remember, I’m not talking about Mcdojos.
I’m talking about the real thing. Especially in Korea. In Korea, they take it seriously. Just like any other martial art.

Does anybody remember the name of this movie with dancing martial arts in it?

It’s a 1980-1990′s movie, where a high school teachers takes a bunch of students and shows them this dancing type of karate. a song used in the movie is “pana naweh” or something similiar to that. It would be really appreciative because i’ve been searching for this movie for the longest.
