Want to tone not bulk my muscles–help?

I have been doing Pilates for 6 months and my muscles have expanded. My chest is bigger and my upper arms are enormous. I can’t fit into my blouses. My abdomen is hard but is popping out of my middle. I am so sad. Am I doing the exercises wrong? Do I need to lose more weight? 5′ 5″ 140 lbs. Someone told me that when the fat burns off the muscles will look toned. Others told me that I will always be bulky. I stopped doing Pilates 2 months ago and I am already shrinking but I don’t feel fit. Please help and please explain what is going on. Thanks

Sparring help?

Hi I’m 12 and I take taekwondo. Whenever we spar in class, the instructor always partners me up with this kid who is the same age, is a boy, and is more advanced than me. I can never get a punch or kick in whenever we spar because he’s really fast and kicks me really hard in the chest. We have gear on but he just hits really hard. How can I get a chance to punch or kick him?
