Which is a more powerful martial art, Shaolin Kung Fu or Jujitsu?

I want to start martial arts but i’m caught between these two which from what i’ve always studied about Japanese and Chinese history, are the most powerful martial arts from the country they come from, China= Kung Fu, Japan= Jujitsu. So which is more powerful?

I want to learn a martial arts by a grandmaster in a different country…?

I have decided that I am forsure going to do this when I graduate. Money is not much of an issue I have been saving for a while and will continue to save if it’s not enough.

Anyways, basically I want to know where is the best play to go. I don’t want to just join some local classes where I can learn from some shmuck. I want to travel the world to distant place where a grandmaster can teach me the real ways… Like some karate kid stuff. I don’t want to learn karate though.

I am thinking either shaolin kung fu, tai chi or qi gong, or something that is a sort of meditation as well.

I want to go to a different country other than America not just to do this, I think it would be cool to learn their language and culture also. My main thing is I am very spiritual and I want a martial art that teaches meditation as well as the art. Any info is appreciated. Country, which martial art is is, and anything else you would like to add.
Thanks,
Zach
@Paul–I actually know a guy that did that and he seemed to love it and speaks Thai. I may consider it.

@Ron– You quite obviously have no idea what you’re talking about. Why don’t you do something productive with your life instead of bash on other peoples? live and let live.

Is it too late to have a hobby?

I am 17 and till now I havent stuck to a particlar hobby all my life. I have done several things like karate, yoga, drama and cross country but I have never done anything for more than few months. Its not that I am fickle but these were all short term programs. This day I saw these friends of mine on stage dancing and after that I saw them smiling proudly when everybody was congratulating them. I really wanna do something like that, join some sports or dance class but I have a feeling that I wont be able to do it for too long as I will be going to university and then when I complete my post secondary education, I will be like 23 and then you know I wont be able to do it for long
