Which Chinese movie (from 70′s till present) is the classic of the classic?

The one which made you start to watch more Chinese or Asian movies? or it’s more meaningful to you for some other reasons. (Well … whatever, may be just because you watched it with your first Chinese girl friend in the first date!… lol.. !)

You may name a few of them.. comedy / kung fu / drama / gangs…etc. Thanks! (If possible, please kindly give me the Chinese titles as well.. I’m not quite familiar with the English titles, but I can google them if you can’t type Chinese with your computer.)
I watched “Yapian Zhanzheng” (The Opium War) in movie theatre, the effects are a lot better than watching DVD I bet..:P I like this movie!

will you choose men who like boxing, martial arts, Muay Thai, Karate, dojo, Taekwondo, Aikodo,..use violence?

(1) some men want to date me, but they like boxing,….karate..Martial arts…the activities on the above caption…I am afraid they will fight their girlfriends or wives.
(1) why men like Muay Thai, Karate, dojo, Taekwondo, Aikodo, boxing, artial arts? what is the puropose of learning them?
(2) Boxing needs strength, men who like boxing should be very strong and their weight will be heavy i think.
(3) Is that because they like fighting and use violence?
(4) Is the possibility of those men fighting their wife more than men who don’t like the above activities?
(5) maybe they tend to use violence to solve all problem in daily life?
(6) Do you think i should date with them?
(7) If you were me, will you choose them? I am petite and weak and i cannot protect myself if they use violence
(8) Any lady here who has this kind of boyfriend or husband and can give me advice?
(9) Any men here can give me advice or tell me the thought of men who like those activities?

Why do most women overlook Asian men?

It seems like most women are not interested at all in dating Asian men…even other Asian women. Everyone goes straight for the White guy. The thing is, I know that Caucasian men are, in general, more physically attractive, but do people care about anything other than looks? It’s sad that there are pretty much no Asian men in the media aside from the kung-fu master or totally ugly nerd. We’re never portrayed in an attractive manner…it’s so degrading and depressing. It’s really depressing how many Asian women refuse to date Asian guys…it’s almost like self-racism…most White and Hispanic women seem to be the same. I’ve heard about this among the gay Asian male community as well…that Asian guys usually refuse to date other Asian guys. What is going on? I guess physical attraction is the only thing that counts. Well…maybe not…but sometimes I get this feeling. I’m not bitter, but sometimes I am frustrated.

Well I have seen Asian/Hispanic relationship’s especially Phillipino and Cambodian women..but what about Korean,Japanese,and Chinese women?? I’m just curious about this..No i don’t wanna date an Asian female..In fact i lost my virginity to a Phillipine girl..she was much older too. I was 14 and she was 19,and it was a good experience..she showed me her Kung-Fu grip..all the guys know what i mean!! LOL
