I’ve checked the two nearest community colleges. One has a yoga class that incorporates meditation into the class, but I don’t know how much. And the other has a fitness center where you can practice yoga, but no classes. I not only want, but need a stronger mind. I want stronger focus and the ability to not think about the stupid crap that gets on my nerves. Don’t say “join the Marine Corps,” because that was my one wish in life ever since I was in 7th grade (13 years old). I say this because I’m on medication for an anxiety disorder and the Marines nor Army nor Navy nor Coast Guard will admit you unless you’ve been off medication for a certain period of time. There were other reasons I wanted to join the Corps, not just to strenghten my mind and body, but I can’t even be off these meds for more than two days w/o ill shit happening. I think meditation is the key. What do I have to do??
