i dunno how, ive seen very little of either and i dont want to go to some place so teachers can make fun of me,and on ggogle it doesn’t help

Can you use the Kung fu style Baguazhang(pakua chang) in a fight?
Like is it a martial art that wouldn’t be useful in a fighting tournament? Is it like another style like I dunno uhhh northern praying mantis or is it a softer kind of exercise martial art like tai chi?
