What’s the worst experience you’ve ever had related to your karate training?

Could be with a teacher, other students, the school, the training itself. I’ve had a few. Here’s one: I met with a Tae Kwon Do teacher who laughed at (LAUGHED AT) my Kenpo background continually and said it wasn’t real karate, and wouldn’t exist outside of the U.S. He worked us to the bone! That wasn’t so bad you get used to it eventually. But then another student proceeded to tell me how other newbies have thrown up in class before. And a yellow belt actually did throw up that day. It was too much for me. I went once.
And the place didn’t have air conditioning!

Do you think an early 30something man can work out to get into good enough shape to fight in the UFC or Pride?

I have kept in fairly decent shape through the years, playing basketball, working with my hands, building fences, painting houses, flipping houses, etc, and I have plenty of experience with karate and street fighting, but I am not in great cardiovascular shape. I really need to start running again. It is just that I saw UFC62 the other night and I may not be in their league now, but I really feel that if I worked hard for six months, I could be in fighting shape. All my friends laughed at this idea, but I just wanted to get some peoples opinions who do not know me.

What does it mean to experience GOD?

How do we know that an experience is God?

How do we define it?

Is experience of God more than a feeling? Is it out-of-the-ordinary experience, or is it something like love?

Does deep experience of God come only through meditation/prayer, or does it sometimes come unexpectedly, or in times of deep emotion?

For you, personally, what is experience of GOD?
**Serious answers, please; no anti-theist comments…Thanks =)

Tarot, scrying, and divination.?

I am seeking alternate points of view to aid me in teaching others. I have my own theories, but I find that teaching only one way is unfair, restricting, and unethical. My question is this. How does divination work? Is it external or internal? Please back up any answer with personal experience or other reference.

For clarification, I have heard the typical smoke and mirrors and Devilry responses and find it useless to my purpose unless it is backed up by personal experience or holy text reference (specific chapter, verse, section, whatever, etc.)

Any experience with any form of divination (Oneiromancy, Tarot, Ouija, black mirror, candle meditation, I Ching, Runology, etc.) will work for me. Thank you for your help in advance.

Are U usuing the 72 names set of cards?Couldnt we make a forum of the experiences you and I have had?

I started using the 72 names and done the meditations and it has been a hyper real experience to me, every card is totally related to what happens to me that day, even on a pun level, which makes me think GOD has a weird sense of humor
