How long on the treadmill?? help please?

i’m getting a treadmill in march and i would like to know about how long it will take to lose weight and how long to run/jog/walk everyday. right now i am about 140 pounds and around 5’6/5’7. i want to lose about 15 pounds and tone myself up a bit. right now i basically eat whatever whenever and it’s definitely catching up. i would say i have a medium build. i need to lose some fat on my stomach and upper legs/hips. anyone know how long it will take to lose the weight and how long i should go for? i know treadmills burn fat, but are they good for flattening your stomach too? what other exercises are there for legs & abs? would 15 pounds be good for someone like me? or is that too much? i dont want to be really skinny or anything. im aiming for 1300 calories aday & cut back on the carbs. im very unactive and im not involved in sports, i dont get much exercise right now..oh yeah, im going to do some pilates a few nights a week too, crunches, etc…

I began working out w/Pilates and was wondering if it burns fat???

I want to know it I need to do another form of exercise or if Pilates is enough to burn the extra fat on my butt, belly, and thighs???? I want to have a lean, toned body. Please help!!
I am not trying to lose weigh, just exchange fat for muscle.

what will pilates do for me?

at the moment im trying to lose some lower belly fat and tone up, so ive been trying to eat healthier and incorporate some cardio (tennis, running, aerobics) in my routine… but i still cant seem to get rid of the stubborn lower belly fat!! any ideas?

i was thinking of starting up pilates (the one on the jeanette jenkins workout dvd) … but i was just wondering if this is going to help me lose the lower belly fat or if its just going to tone up the muscle underneath the fat (like ab crunches…)??

How do I get rid of the fat that is underneath my arms just below the pits?

I do cardio, Pilates and Circuit training and I have lost alot of weight but it seems like in this area I can’t get rid of the fat there. YUK!

Pilates and what else?

I have six months to get into really good shape before summer and a vacation abroad. What is a good workout that i can try. I am 5’4 and 165lbs. I didn’t really lose all of my last baby’s fat. I would be happy to be 145lbs or less. I thought of doing pilates but i know that i need to do more then that. i just don’t know what. Help!
