Condition:
I was told this pain may be from computer posture and it also could be from weight training.
Duration:
2 weeks same pain.
Details of Pain:
It starts near my trap muscle that connects my neck to the shoulder. I especially hurts when I lean tilt my head down or to the side that it hurts. I also have sharp needle sensations on the back of my tricep, the outside of my elbow, on my forearm near the wrist, and in the crease between the little and ring finger.
Healing Methods I have tried:
I have been practicing Chi Kung which involves high reaching and bending over stretching. If I do have a micro tear, could this be preventing the healing of the tear by continuing to stretch it? Or is stretching good for the healing?
Surgery in the past:
10 years ago I severed a nerve in my left arm close to the wrist. I had tingly sensations down to my smallest 2 fingers. Could this be related to the pain I am having in the back of my neck/ shoulder?
One year ago I had a chiropractor who specializes in adjusting the top vertebrae on your neck to improve communication from the brain. Is it possible that I need to have this realigned to relieve the pain in my top / neck shoulder area?
