Here’s the basic caveat to this… if you have the propensity for misery, self-adulation or vice versa, and other self-defeating habits, money will only accentuate them. But in that scenario, the problem isn’t money but your own psyche.
So, if you’re in general, a person who strives to better oneself, then money will most definately lead towards happiness. For starters, it removes the basic obstructions to first of all, finding out what you really like versus what you do which brings home the bacon. Next, if you have any self-defeating patterns, you can afford to take the time/money for psychotherapy, meditation, or hypnosis to remedy them. And finally, you’ve got the resources to do what you love and not worry about whether or not the money follows your aspirations. That’s happiness in a nutshell.
I’ve been following the above treatise and every time my net worth increases, I feel happier by the season.
