need decision!! Taekwondo or Basketball?

weLL, taekwondo is more with the feet ehiLe basketbaLL with the arms….. pLease heLp my schooL wants me to chose from either one!!! i Love taekwondo and im easy with it, maybe because of my beLt status but my cLassmates say im reaLLy good in basketbaLL!! what now? foLLow my heart? or foLLow for my schooLs pride? tnx guys…. and girls..

what causes an enlarged and fatty liver?

I have severe diabetes, had 2 heart attacks last yr, I’m 40. my liver is “fatty” and enlarged. I am overweight, but was under or at normal weight level clear up until the dr removed the gallbladder, then i quit smoking and gained about 45 lbs since. the gallbladder i found out later did not need to be removed. i can eat a salad or drink a glass of tea or even coffee and all of a sudden my stomach is so bloated and hard as concrete. i was doing cardio and wt training as well as pilates and water aerobics…5 days a wk usually 4-5 hrs a day, and still could not lose an ounce of wt. what gives? i had blood work done last wk and was told today that my chol is 470 and trigyceride level is 790. she said everything is wayyy tooooo high. but im sure it is all related to the diabetes, heart condition (r coronary artery is clogged and too small for a stint) and fatty/enlarged liver. this scares me. thanks for your help.

would you study my martial art?

Have developed my own martial arts based on years of training/studying. It basically incorporates kung fu,SAMBO, bbj, and escrima to form what I call instinctitsu. The idea is that in any situation no matter how many people you can win. my core tecnique is the nutmeg. I can’t give too much away as I’m hoping to sell it to the ufc or strikeforce but essentially it;s a way of focusing you;re chi to counter any ppunch or kick. You can also use it to pass guards, break out of other fighters subs and withstand head on punches. At the moment I’ve mostly done demos with friends and pets but lookinf for trained martial artists with heart and endurance. those I choose will be trained by me via skype for free and maybe tutored in the basics of the nutmeg.

Type II and exercise with heart disease…?

yikes. Ok…. you guys are the best. I understand I have to incorporate exercise into my daily routine. I am a slug. I am 5′ tall, weigh 110 lbs. so not overweight. BUT, I also have some pretty severe heart disease. (valves and defib). SO, can I do something like, yoga or tai chi?? How about ballet barre workout? That works the muscles, without being aerobic.

Thanks to you guys, I will sleep tonight.
