Are there any African martial art schools in Texas other than Capoeira?

I have some history with different styles of martial arts, like long fist shaolin kung fu and tae kwan do, but I’ve become interested in more African oriented martial arts to suffice my cultural heritage and combative interests. I know Capoeira has its roots in Angola, Africa but my two closest friends practice it, and I feel its a bit unpractical. I do like the dance aspect but fail to see it used effectively with the lack of hand techniques and its need for large spaces.

Jogging vs. Pilates?

I have a really busy schedual but I want to fit in excersize every day. At school I have a 2 science, 1 math, 1 history (very heavy) course load, a part time job and after school clubs. I love to jog and do pilates but doing both would be next to impossible. Which one would be better to fit into my schedual and more beneficial?? A 6am jog or a 6am pilates session?
