Did John Donne write his Meditation 17 during the plague?

In his essay Meditation XVII, he speaks of illness and bells ringing. This sounds like the plague to me.

“Mental Illness” and working out?

I have some form of depression, panic issues, and the such. When I work out I feel better about my problems and seem to have less “down times” and less panic attacks. But when I hit all time lows I miss out on going to the gym, tai chi, my daily work outs, ect. And this usually starts a terrible cycle. Not working out so i dont feel better, i dont feel good so i dont work out, lather rinse repeat.

When I do force myself to the gym the work outs arent the same, I cant have the same passion and energy that makes a great work out. So i keep going and having “poor work outs” and then one day a week-a month later I got the energy back and everythign is fine. Again, lather rince repeat.

Anyone else have this problem or something like it. Anything I can do to help it?
