What exercises are safe to do with this injury?

I am 16 and female. Two years ago, like a freshman idiot my friends and I sat under some school steps as our hangout spot. One day the late bell rang and I popped up too fast and hit my shoulder and part of my neck on the underside of the stairs. Shortly after I got an X-ray because of excruciating -barely can walk- pain in my shoulder, side, and neck. They said because of the pain I was breathing too shallow which caused my lungs to fill with mucus. All they sent me off with was some ibuprofen and the instructions ‘breathe deeply’! Some doctors. After months it started to feel better with few times the pain returning. Recently I have been dedicated to fitness more. I do one of those DVD Fitness things (you know with techno music and a smiley person telling you what to do at home) that is now seeming to act up my shoulder. I also am beginning tai chi and wonder if this will also strain it. I don’t want some stupid freak accident to mess up everything. I’m worried I’ll end up like my mom who complains about her shoulder from her years being a mail carrier. I’m only 16 and I know when it’s going to rain! :( What exercises are safe to do with this injury? and perhaps can help my shoulder rather than harm it. I would ask a doctor but my parents think I’m overreacting.

How do i heal an injury faster?

I cant do any impact exercises?

I had knee surgery about a year ago and the words my doctor used to describe my injury were “horrible” “horrendous” and “if you like sports you better learn to love golf”

I gain quite a bit of weight while I was recovering and even though it has been a year I am still not 100%. My leg gets very tired very quickly and walking for any length of time makes my knee swell up and lock up.

I also can not do any of those leg excercise machines because my kneecap literally grinds when I bend

So, any suggestions on any no-impact excercises I can do to help trim up? I was thinking about taking a yoga class, but I am wondering if it will work and how much stress it will put on my knee.

Any help would be appriciated.

Improving vertical jump height for martial arts?

I am a 15 year old female with no injury history. I am
a martial artist in mainly Taekwondo but I have
dabbled in other martial arts. I am currently in Korea
for Taekwondo training.
I have been training in Taekwondo since I was born
practically (my family owns a couple tkd schools).
I have been training in Korea for a month now and have started working on the 540 under the supervision of two members of K Tigers. I am currently 130 lb and 5’5″

My goal is to do a 540 spinning hook. So I need to
increase my vertical jump drastically and my speed
also. The speed needs to come from the feet as well as
the hips.

I also want to ask about the efficiency of weights.
(ankle weights etc.) Do wearing them while climbing
stairs and regular routine help?
