Help with Decartes?

Stuck in Modern Philosophy reading Descartes’ Meditations on the First Philosophy. When we have calss discussions, everyone has strong opinions on what the meditations are about but no one can agree on the material. We are in the middle of the second meditation right now. Can anyone offer their insight? If you know that something you are saying comes from a later meditation, please let me know.

Brazilian Jujitsu?

Well, I haev been doing taekwondo in the ITA for about 5 years now, and i feel as though im really not getting the full benefits of martial arts. I am really thinking about branching out and my TKD school started offering a brazilian jujitsu class. It is taught by some jujitsu blackbelt(idk who lol) and i was wondering if this martial art was creditable. Can anyone give me a little insight on this new martial art im seeking?

Can someone give me some critical analysis and insight on Rene Descartes’ Meditations?

What do you think of Descartes’ method of being doubtful of any idea that can be doubted?
