I’m curious about this matter. From what I was told this past summer, it is hard on the knees. Is that true? Compared to other styles of Martial Arts, is it difficult to learn? I’m a little interested in it, as well as Brazilian Jujitsu (but that’s a little later).

why do people always say mauy thai is a good martial art because it uses elbows and knees? taekwondo uses them too and it kicks are quicker and stronger too yet everyone “bags” on it.
mauy thai fighter telegraph their kicks(drag their legs when they kick) that makes them slower and less range since they kick with the shins(i’m not denying that their shins are rock hard)
i am looking to buy some new workout tapes…any suggestions? i enjoy bellydancing and walking…don’t have the knees for running…so any low impact videos suggested would be greatly appreicated
thanks…
also wondering if anyone has tried susan powter’s trailer park yoga video….
