TAE KWON DO Question?

I am a low yellow belt. And I should be testing next month for my High yellow belt. I do have a notebook just for my taekwondo stuff.
I also have a tournament next month. What can I do now to be able to be ready for my next belt test and tournament? I do want to try for the US TAEKWONDO team. But I have to be a black belt for that. What can I do to prepare for the US taekwondo team?

I need some advice from other Taekwondo students?

I haven’t been able to go to TKD classes for over a month since I have been really busy with homework. My goal is to go for the Olympic taekwondo team. But I need to be a black belt. I missed the last testing. But I have all of next month to train. I am a low yellow belt. What can I do to get prepared to be on track for testing?

How do I lose weight?

I’m 13 years old, 5″3 tall, and I weigh 155 lbs. I heard the ideal weight for someone of my age and height is 110 lbs. Is this true? I’d love to have that bikini body by June, but I’d have to lose about 6-7 lbs. a month. I’ve tried Pilates, but it didn’t help, along with the fact that I’m only a teenager and the program is designed for adults. I don’t have any money for a membership to a gym or exercise equipment. My mom won’t take me to the doctor because she says I won’t listen to him. I’ve been gaining at least 1 pounds every month, I need help!!!

the reason i quit?

I did some years of taekwondo, and then one month in bjj. I read , researched, asked, studied other opinions etc… and as i see, martial arts give you knowledge, but on the other hand , they cause injuries, and harm the joints of the body, especially bjj. So i read that almost any wrestler after some time, goes for surgery , dislocated shoulder, or toe etc….

I don’t want to put my health in risk. I chose to do martial arts, only to give a lesson to the stupid bulies that talk for themselves with pride, and make them submit in a minute and say humbly “i am sorry”.

So now i am seriously thinking of quitting martial arts , and moving to gym and swimming so that i increase my mass volume, increase my muscles, increase my stamina, strengthen my arms and body in general.

So what do you think of swimming ? What do you think of my change ?
