I know many Hindu apsects are part of the New Age following.
Since Tai Chi is based on the I-Ching which is a form of divination (an occult practice) I am assuming that Tai Chi is fundamentally an occult practice.
Can anyone shed more light on this please?
Then how do you reconcile the fact that the I-Ching is an occult manual and Tai Chi is a practical application of the I-Ching principles?
Please refer to my previous comment. It is a known-fact that I-Ching is a divination, occult manual which uses numerology and trigrams. That is a fact and it is anti-Christian. Another known fact is that Tai Chi is a practical application of the numerology principles and triagrams of I-Ching. The Tai Chi body movements are practical applications of the numerology and of the trigrams outlined in the I-ching manual.
So if these are facts, how can Tai Chi not be occult? Please refer to these facts in your answers. Thank you very much.
So Patrick, do you agree?
“Tai Chi also has, particularly amongst eastern practitioners, a long connection with the I Ching a Chinese system of divination. There are associations between the 8 basic I Ching trigrams plus the five elements of Chinese alchemy (metal, wood, fire, water and earth) with the thirteen basic postures of Tai Chi created by Chang San-feng. There are also other associations with the full 64 trigrams of the I Ching and other movements in the Tai Chi form.”

We used to have one guy show up every New Years’ and he would do his Karate moves all over the dance floor! It was most entertaining for the band.
There were always a lot of “Charlie Brown” type dancers!
