Anyone interested in learning about Internal Energy channeling, also known as CHI, in Chinese Kung FU.?

ANyone care to attempt to define CHI, flowing energy throughout the meridians, how can this be explained, or understood scientifically ,men being able to break concrete, and take so much physical damage, without their organs, or body suffering. My theory is that energy gets flowed throughout the organs, and meridians, and that the brain plays a major role, as much as the heart, in summoning, and channeling this energy. This extremely massive and precise CHI energy, may be generated from the Adrenal Cortex, or Endorphin Gland, as far as science is concerned. I went with my friend to a tien shan pai kung fu studio, and was amazed at what people with these ancient chinese knowledge could do, simply defying of gravity. Most of you americans think this is all horsecrap, but there is more to energy, than scientifically having to quantify everything, there is untapped energy out there, you just gotta use your mind.
I don’t think, but know there will not be conceived of a more truthful, nor better answer that this answer, not only is this the best answer, because its the only one, but also because you’ve exceeded the boundaries for which this spectrum of knowledge enhances our consciousness with. I cannot thank you with words for what you have shared with me, and cannot express with word what it has permitted me to contemplate about. cheers.

The dangers of body and head strikes?

I hear all about how dangerous boxing is in the long run, with all the head contact. I’m looking for a martial art that has hard sparring and resistance-based (“Alive”) training, but I’m worried about the injuries/long term deterioration I might be subjected to. I know a lot of karate schools don’t allow strikes to the head… but are strikes to the body really that much safer? Surely it can’t be good for your organs if you’re getting your body pummelled with hard, bareknuckle strikes on a regular basis? I’d really like to hear from someone with some more experience in these areas than me. Simply put, what are the dangers of hard, frequent sparring?
