help with anxiety/panic attacks>?

i have very bad anxiety/panic attacks. i have been on numberus meds for anxiety and depression, none have helped me, they where all meds u take daily… is there a med i can ask my doc for that i can take when i feel an attack coming on? daily meds don’t seem to be working! and yes i try all sorts of hollistic type therepy. meditation, etc
i have been on all different kinds of antidepressaints/ anxiety meds, in cluding lexapro and cymbalta. i have not been prescribies any type of benzodiazepines. are benzodiazepines a type of med that u would take when u feel an attack coming on?

panic over eye floaters….how do i deal?

I am a pre med college student. Life was already full of stress for me and now i got floaters in my eyes. It’s so distressing that i am having panic attack almost everyday. My doctors gave me “effexors” so the anxiety is somewhat under control however I still suffer from it. I know there is no way i can get rid of these buggers in my eyes but how do i deal with this overwhleming stress i am having everyday. Should I increase anti depressant dosage or meditation??? I really like someone sharing their experience. Many thanks for reading

How do overcome chronic nerve pain(neuropathy)?

a nerve was pinched in my right hip many years ago. In 2004 a medtronics neurostimulater was installed in my body, although it did help it didn’t completely take the pain away. I have to take a sedative (seroquel) to avoid daily panic attacks. Meditation & hypnosis help but I am getting worse.

Any natural advice for severe panic disorder and g.a.d.?

I suffer from debilitating anxiety attacks. I’ve had them all my life and the dabbling in “modern medicine” worked for a spell but plateaud, leaving me even worse and with withdrawal to boot. I’ve been to a handful of different professionals and they just guess, prescribe, guess, prescribe… very frustrating.

So the long and short of it is, I’m sick of taking medicines like effexor, paxil and zoloft… I just can’t stomach trying more. So I’ve turned my sites on natural therapy.

Is there anything that truly works for anyone out there? I mean really works… not “well natural prescription for wellness encyclopedia says….”

I’ve tried 5 HTP, took up yoga for about 2 years, took St Johns Wort for about 2 months, took extra B vitamins and took up tai chi. I’ve been to therapists and normal doctors.

I’m looking into homeopathy and bach flower remedies and am a bit overwhelmed. I wish I could try acupuncture, but I’m out of work because of this and can’t really afford it.

Non Medication Aides for Anxiety?

I’m trying to take the non-medication road to healing my panic and anxiety (seeing as how all the meds they put me on for that just THROW me into panic attacks). I was wondering what other options I have to help me control my panic/anxiety. I already know about meditation and deep breathing techniques, but is there anything else? My anxiety has really been making me feel quite out of control lately so I need some answers quickly. Thanks everyone.
