If i do these exercises?

Run 2 miles at least 3 times a week and pilates also will I be in shape by summer? I am 5’4 110 pounds, with a little stomach (nothing that bad) and im not toned.

Kitty discipline question….I have a 1 year old kitty who is in heat…?

She has the run of the house usually. I just started doing Pilates which requires alot of floor movement with various straps and balls. While I’m doing it, she will not leave me the f** alone. I know she wants to play. Is it wrong to lock her in the laundry room (litterbox is there) for 45 minutes while I exercise? I just feel bad becuz I’ve never done that before and to do it while she is in heat seems mean…
To everyone who said get kitty spayed—DUH. My vet (who I adore) told me it’s better to wait until she is a year or so old, partly because she was abused as a kitten and I rescued her and he thought she should have plenty of time to adapt and to grow. She never goes outside–doesn’t even try. Spaying is in her near future. Thx for the friendly advice re: free places. I can afford to do it. But more thx for the reminder that it’s time.

As for “Sandwich”–your response was completely uncalled for. I never said it was a discipline problem. I put her in there so I can exercise and I don’t have to keep shooing her away. Save your hostility for someone else, kiddo.

I am starting a pilates class tomorrow. Should I go for my normal 4 mile run before?

Will that fatigue my muscles too much?

What martial art will help me relax and which one will help me defend myself?

I had a run in a couple weeks ago where I wasn’t able to defend myself against some prick…luckily I had some friends there, so I was okay…but it annoyed the hell out of me that I couldn’t protect myself.

But another thing is: I’m very stressed most of the time, so I would also like to learn something (tai chi, ect…) that can help me relax.

I’m a girl, and I’m 15. One to relax and one to protect myself with. Any suggestions?

I just hit level 3!!! :) OK, question. Working out question?

Ok so yesterday in gym we played q-tip hockey (the equivalent to field hockey for indoor) and i got really into the game–i was breathing really hard because i dont run that much (but i do work out on my own..like pilates and such)
now the muscles in my back hurt, like upper ribcage in the back, you know what im talking about? its so sore, could it be because of the game?
anyone????
