We have him in Soccer now, but he has a kidney disease and has a hard time keeping up with the other kids. I want to give him a hobby that will enhance his self esteem without having to necessarily compare his strength or speed with other kids. I was thinking of Karate classes. Any other ideas would be GREATLY appreciated! We live in Northern California. Thanks!
Please no rude answers insuinating that I’m not taking my son’s feelings into consideration. I’m going to talk with him about what he wants to do OF COURSE, but I’d like to be armed with ideas should he ask me what his options are. And again, I said sports OR activities – I’m not looking for just sport related ideas. Thanks again for all the great ideas already. I appreciate it!
