Anyone tried it? Is it fun? I’m thinking of getting it, but just because the commercial looks fun, doesn’t mean that it really is. I need ‘real life’ answers! TIA!

I’ve been dieting, and exercising. My exercise is dancing, and I already lost 2 pounds or 3 the past week, and I notice that my right arm is getting bigger. Why oh why is it getting bigger?! It’s supposed to be thinner, not more muscular! My left arm is smaller compared to my right, and I just want my right arm to be as thin as my left arm, because it’s just right that way. I hate my right muscular fat arm. I hate it. I hate it! I hate it so much it makes me want to cry and stop using it when I see it. Do I have to starve myself just to make it thinner?! Why is it so big?! I’m tearing up already just typing this stupid question that no one might even care about. I’m thinking of doing pilates, will that help making my right arm thinner?!
Somebody please, please help me.
I’m on the verge of having anorexia, and I don’t want to start so please help me. =( My right arm is so big… It has muscle, yes, it does, and fat, too, but I’m a girl and please just help me. PLEASE.
I don’t want to switch hands because I don’t want my left arm to be thinner. And no, I don’t have kids. I am 18.
And please, I need serious answers that will solve my problem. Not useless ones.
“I don’t want to switch hands because I don’t want my left arm to be thinner. And no, I don’t have kids. I am 18.”
I meant I don’t want my left arm to get BIGGER. Sorry bout that.
So if I stop dancing, my arms would get thinner? And does anybody know if pilates will make my arms thinner, anyone?
“if you’re right handed it gets bigger coz you use it more than your left hand…”
I know that. I’m not stupid, okay.
Thinking of taking a martial arts. These three are what i’ve narrowed it down to. I’m looking for self-defense. I’m 5-7″ and grew up a baseball athlete. I’m looking something that teaches discipline and patience along with the physical aspect. Grew up being picked on by bigger people. I want to be able to defend myself and my wife if need be. Any suggestions and comments are welcome. Serious answers only please.

What are the descriptions and differences of the benefits of workouts like yoga, pilates, tai chi(sp), tae bo, and any other exercise like that your can think of? I’m thinking of doing some of these over the summer because I want to be more flexible and have more endurance for running track next year. Thanks ![]()
Oh and I read somewhere that one of these makes your kind of taller, which I don’t want at all. I want to have good posture but I am way tall enough. And I want abs. TIA!
I started taking taekwondo recently…it seems like it would work ok standing up, but if a fight were to go to the ground, there are big weaknesses in this MA. I was thinking of studying another MA, I know BJJ is good for ground, which others would be good to go with TKD.
