i’m getting a treadmill in march and i would like to know about how long it will take to lose weight and how long to run/jog/walk everyday. right now i am about 140 pounds and around 5’6/5’7. i want to lose about 15 pounds and tone myself up a bit. right now i basically eat whatever whenever and it’s definitely catching up. i would say i have a medium build. i need to lose some fat on my stomach and upper legs/hips. anyone know how long it will take to lose the weight and how long i should go for? i know treadmills burn fat, but are they good for flattening your stomach too? what other exercises are there for legs & abs? would 15 pounds be good for someone like me? or is that too much? i dont want to be really skinny or anything. im aiming for 1300 calories aday & cut back on the carbs. im very unactive and im not involved in sports, i dont get much exercise right now..oh yeah, im going to do some pilates a few nights a week too, crunches, etc…
I have chronic pelvic pain and hence cannot really do any strenous exercise. I need to tone my stomach up though and was wondering if pilates would help do that.
I am 5’3″ and weigh 105lbs, my belly isn’t flat though, so thats all I need to work on.

I have a slow motabolism, while i dont consider myself fat i would like to be slimmer, i have tried lots of diets but they all work for a little while then they stop working, and i end up putting what i have lost plus more on. Ive tried different excersice too, tae-bo, pilates, aerobics, and gym machines but nothing really works, i found pilates made me loose cms but it toned the fat ontop and i still had bulges.
I want to loose
4 kilos
14cm off my hips
10cm off each thigh
10cm off my waist
and 10cm off my lower abdomen area.
What is the best way to do this for someone with a slow motablism, i dont eat alot at all and i consider myself pretty healthy, i only indulge a few times a month or on special occasions. What is the best way to burn this extra fat off???
Just two months ago, I weighted 148 pounds. By me dieting, I have gone down to a size 135 with just dieting alone no exercise. Now that I have gotten my size to where I want it, I’m still not happy with my body. I need to start incorporating some exercises. The problem is I don’t know what specific exercise I should do to start. Most people are telling me to join a fitness gym, but with my budget I don’t want to do that. My main area that I would like to work is my thigh, mainly my inner thighs. I want to get them nice and firm. I want them to be tight and not all lose and floppy like they are now. Just the other night I saw an infomercial about a product called Zone Pilates. From watching the commercial, it seems like the product that will give me the exact results I am looking for. Has anyone tried Zone Pilates or have any good exercising tips I can use to work my thighs? Another quick question is how well will running daily help me achieve my goal?
I want a tone body by May!!
