How should I get rid of the pain in the muscles after the training?

I had my first Kung Fu class last Tuesday, but, as I haven’t worked out in 3 years, I didn’t do too much. I must say the Master was patient, but still…..

I have been through horrible leg pain ever since….The stances require that we stand in a crotched position, if I am expressing myself correctly (English not my first language), and I also was slipping a lot because of the floor and had to flex my inner thigh muscles very much, to prevent myself from falling.

Anyway…..point is, it’s been almost a week, I didn’t even go to Tai Chi class, because I literally couldn’t even descend stairs or climb without cutting my breath in pain….and still the same.

What can I do to get rid of this pain and relax my muscles as quick as possible? Because I need to go train again, I can’t sit aside like this forever.

Thank you for your time!

What would you recommend: tai chi or kickboxing? Why?

I’m about to start training. I have to choose between Tai chi and kick boxing. Which one do you believe would provide more action, better workout, and a better self-defense course? I’m overweight but I’m agile and good with my legs. I have never done any martial art before. Please be specific explaining your choice. Thanks.

Is my hunch correct?

I used to train with this guy for like 6yrs in Taekwondo. We were pretty good training buddies and we coached eachother. I totally had a huge crush on him when I was younger but grew out of it when he finally started hitting on me. He ended up going out with someone else up until like 1month ago. Lately I was fooling around with my relationship status on facebook and he messaged me because he was really interested in what was going on and we hadn’t really talked a bunch in the last year. You think he’s interested, that perhaps I should go for it?
Okay my status change was because I was dealing with shit from others about being in non-existent relationships and guys liking me but not doing anything about it. Plus I turned him down when I was 16 because he was drinking at the time and now i’m 20.
