How come every time I work out my body hurts the next day is that normal?

I remember at my last school I did karate.Every time he made us run,do over 10 push ups,or anything else like that the next day I couldn’t move.Yesterday I did a couple of kicks,punches and push ups and now my whole body hurts and even typing hurts.

Hit plateau and need a new routine?

I’ve been eating 1400 calories a day and doing 60 minutes on the elliptical machine along with sit ups on a stability ball most days of the week and I have lost 20 pounds since August but the past two months I have not lost any thing. Do I need to cut my calories down to 1200 a day and mix up my work-out? I’m thinking of using my new pilates dvds (25 minute total work out and 18 minute ab work out) every morning and doing the elliptical 4 days a week for 60 minutes… does that sound like enough or do I need more? I have a nutrionist but she never answers her e-mails and with the holidays going on it’s hard to get an appointment in.

I got push ups for wearin a shirt under my Karate Gi?

The other day I was in Karate, and my friend and I were doing Kumite(sparring) and my sensei gave me 20 push ups for wearing a wife-beater under my gi, and I shouldn’t have asked why becasue he could have taken offense and called it disrespectful, but I did anyway and he said the rule was that only girls may wear a plain white T-shirt under their gi. Is this some traditional martial arts rule or something?

I’m being pressured to lose weight. Are there anything that can just make me look smaller?

I’m 5′ 10.5” and I’m currently 138 pounds. I exercise regularly and I’m on a mainly vegan diet. However, due to anemia, I have to eat at least 3 oz. of red meat a day. I’ve been a beginning model for about 6 months now. I think I look healthy, but my agent wants me to weigh 120. I don’t think i can lose 18 pounds by the deadline I’ve been given, which is in about 6 weeks. I run everyday, I do sit ups and streches, and I’m also in kung fu. These activities are causing my to “buff up” and the muscle is making me look bulky. Also, after doing stomach exercises, my waistline seems to grow by an inch or more. I know that muscle is heavier than fat, and that’s why I don’t think i can lose the weight. Do I need to just stop exercising? Or are there any diet pills that work good and are healthy? It’s mainly my waistline. It’s 27 inches now and she wants it to be 23-25. I don’t know what to do to lose the inches, and the harder I exercise, the *more* weight I gain. Help?

wat would the results be?

if i did 30 to 60 min on the eliptical and a 5o sit ups and a couple of pilates workout to sculpt me i did this 2 a day wat would the results be in 2 to 3 weeks? would there be any or a slight change? im 5’4 i wiegh 67 kilos and my bone stucture aint small and aint big either i drink water all day everyday and watch wat i eat?????
