Frustration isn’t even the word. I don’t eat horribly. I do have a sweet tooth, but I do everything in moderation. I don’t drink anything but water and I love fruit in veggies. Since I was eating well, but not losing weight I decided to amp up the exercise. For the past 4 weeks I’ve been in the gym a minimum of 4 days a week, if not more. I’ve been doing at least a 1/2 of cardio every time and doing pilates and resistance training. Well, I haven’t lost 1 pound. I am exactly the same weight as I started and I just don’t have the motivation to keep doing it. Any suggestions!!!??? I want to lose weight, and I’m trying, but I just don’t know what to do! I don’t want to take supplements, I would really love to do it naturally. Any help/advice would be appreciated. My ultimate goal is to go from 170 to 135. Thank you!
Wow, the response has been great! To clear up some quesions, I sweat a LOT when I work out, so I am confident in my intensity levels. Its seems my two biggest issues may be my stress level (which is extremely high) and my calorie intake, which I’ll admit I haven’t calculated to and exact number, however this is for good reason: I’ve had issues with eating disorders a long time ago, so on top of me struggling not be obssesive with the scale, I really don’t want to be obssesive with calories. However, I think I will take the advice of adding 0 to my weight then cutting that down a bit. It seems reasonable. I have lost some inches, so I think many are right in that I just need to be patient. Thank you!

I am 23: 5′ 10″ tall: and weigh 214lbs. For about 6 months I have been eating healthier and exercising at least 3 times a week. My diet consists of fresh fruit and yougurt for breakfast, lunch can be a bowl of cereal (measured according to the serving size on the box) or a salad, or turkey sandwich no cheese or mayo. And dinner is 2 servings of veggies and a serving of meat (usually chicken, turkey or fish) Drinks through out the day are milk, juice, and a lot of water. And for snacks if I get hungry between meals, is usually fruits, cheese sticks, or yougurt, ect. And I eat just enough to get me to the next meal. About 2 months ago, I even increased my exercise to 5-7 times a week and I haven’t lost a single pound. My exercising includes Monday: Pilates & 1 1/2mile run P-ups and S-ups. Tuesday: Step Aerobics Wednesday: Leg toning workout with friend & Pilates Thursday: Circuit Training and Friday: Some form of cardio for 30 min and more P-ups and S-ups. What’s wrong?

I’m desperate !!! I weight 120 ,5’2 and I need to loose those pounds around my waist .. I have a nice body I’m actually skinny but I have a big belly ..I’ve done EVERYTHING!!!! workout, weight training, aerobics, crunshes, pilates and I can’t get it !! I eat right a lot of water, veggies and proteins and I exercise too. My friend did this tuna diet and she lost a lot of weight ..she did only a weekend but I was wondering is this diet will work for me .. Help!
I have been trying to lose weight for months now. I run 4 days a week, 2-3 miles each time. I also take a Pilates class once a week. My diet is similar to this– high fiber cereal for breakfast, slimfast bar as a snack, a 230 calorie meal for lunch (usually the microwavable kind from weigh watchers), whole wheat pasta, lean chicken breast, rice or veggies for dinner. I usually have desert after dinner but I don’t go overboard. So, why am I not losing weight?! I am still the same size as when I started running months ago and I have noticed only a slight difference in my body. I drink water and watch my portion size, but nothing helps. I am so frustrated that I feel like giving up. Could there be something medically wrong with me? Most of my fat is in my hips and stomach. It won’t budge! Help!
