You say Wing Chun is better than Tai Chi, because you do not meet a true Tai Chi master and you dont know how powerful is The Tai Chi in a real fight ! Tai Chi masters with big skills are too few in the world ! I agree with you that Wing Chun is a very effective in a real fight, but believe me you dont know how effective is Tai Chi, but only performed from a true master in high level !

@b747power The only reason wing chun is easy to elarn is becoz most ppl want to learn it,and all these students then became masters,thats why there is alot and its easy. Why would u learn something that is slow moving and long to learn?The streets are mean u need to learn as much an as fast as possible in a short period of time,now wing chun is what u call efficiency,takes a short time to learn but super efficient and deadly,now dats wat i call an art. I dont know bout tai chi thogh.

@b747power Actually to be frank not many ppl like taichi , most ppl are old people lol,its not like im belittiling tai chi but its not very popular cost it takes very long to learn and the result is the same as wing chun or as good as wing chun. And again no need to be a tai chi master to be great, any art if u reach master rank u will be very powerful no matter what. Tai chi is kinda similar to aikido also,so yea can be beaten. After all ,all martial arts looks the same.

@MechPhantom Tai Chi and Wing Chun are both great arts and you cannot dismiss either one, nor can you say one can defeat the other. Both have proven themselves through hundreds of years of war, and even when the gun was invented, it proved itself, even through the Boxer Revolution in the 1900s. You sound like a 10 year old when you say “this can beat that.” Do your homework, read up on historical cultural backgrounds where these forms evolved, and maybe next time you won’t sound so ignorant.
