Soda or any carbonated beverage is a big no no for the stomach. Also believe it or not but most stomach fat can be a direct result of stress…yes even in a 13 year old. Your best bet is to seek the guidance of a nutritionist for a healthy diet plan.

I say this everytime this kind of question is asked:
Avoid red meat, fried foods (including donuts and potatoe chips) and sugared beverages. Avoiding the red meat and fried foods will limit your choices and prevent you from eating at most fast food restaurants; you’ll make better choices. Do remember that you are still growing. I had a cousin that was heavy when she was younger but she ended up losing the weight in high school. Some people just thin out. It’s great that you are starting to think about eating better now. Developing good habits early will help you in the long run.
Also, fiber in your diet will prevent your body from absorbing some fat.

you’re still growing so you must not go on diet at this stage. i’ll recommend you to take green tea.. it really works.. other than that, lower the intake of salt.. it helps for big thighs. and do not be lazy to walk. as in, if possible, walk around more.. green tea helps getting better skin and health as well.
