what is the benefit of doing yoga?

The question is for the metaphysical besides the health benefits of doing yoga ?

  2. For me, I feel physical as well as mental relaxation after yoga. My mind tends to race around quite a bit, but during and after yoga, all I’m thinking of is my breathing and the poses. It’s quite a release!

    Plus, I’ve been able to focus my meditation on areas I’m having problems with. If I’m having cramps, they lessen after yoga. If my back hurts, I imagine a warmth in my lower back, and it seems to release a little bit.
